Australian by Nature Liver Tonic is a pure Milk Thistle supplement; where, each capsule contains 21,000mg of silybum marianum, standardised to include 150mg of silybin; the active ingredient of milk thistle extract.
There are two types of milk thistle; the most common one is silybum marianum. The extract is made from the seeds of this plant, which contains 4-6% silybin. Silybin is the active component of the extract and is used in medicines and health supplements.
