By ordering any Healthylife Pharmacy products, you consent to the collection and use by us, of any personal and other information you provide in placing your order. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy as set out below. If you do not accept the terms of the Healthylife Pharmacy Privacy Policy, please do not purchase any pharmacy products. The Healthylife Pharmacy Privacy Policy applies to Warren Turner trading as Healthylife Pharmacy and relates to the purchase of pharmacy products via the healthylife.com.au website.

What Information We Collect

We collect personal information in accordance, and with regard to, the relevant Pharmacy & Privacy Laws within Australia. Personal information is collected about you only when you order pharmacy products or through authorised third parties where personal information is necessary to deliver goods and services. Personal information can include but is not restricted to your name, e-mail address, telephone number, Medicare card details, postcode and age, and any other information of a personal nature which you provide. While we strive to protect our user's personal information and privacy, we cannot unreservedly guarantee the security of any information you disclose online, and you do so at your own risk.

When you buy goods or services from Healthylife Pharmacy directly, Healthylife Pharmacy will collect and store certain personal information to allow us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of your order status.

We will ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order such as a product recall.

For customers ordering pharmacy-only medicines from this website, we may ask for additional information to ensure that our pharmacists can check that the medicine is suitable for its intended use.

For patients who wish to use our PBS Prescription service, we will need to know whether you are entitled to concession rate charges for your PBS prescriptions. Additionally, we will collect information about your existing medical conditions and any prescription medication that you are prescribed by your doctor.

We will collect and store details of all medicines and other products we supply to you, and also all medicines that you or your doctor tell us you may be supplied on a repeat prescription.

How That Information Is Stored

Healthylife Pharmacy takes all appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help protect your information from being seen or shared by people not authorised to access it. Personal Electronic Information provided to Healthylife Pharmacy will be stored on servers located in Australia. Physical copies of Personal Information provided may be kept in restricted areas within our pharmacies and order fulfilment centres. You may request paper prescriptions currently held on file to be issued back to you. We will only send your personal information to a third party to provide goods or services that are supplied by Healthylife Pharmacy, and in doing so we will use reasonable ways of keeping your personal information secure. 

Healthylife Pharmacy takes all reasonable steps to ensure your Personal Information remains private and secure. All incoming encrypted information is routed through our firewall, which serves as a gatekeeper for our system. Only data containing the correct authorisation is permitted past the firewall. Attempts to pass the firewall are constantly monitored for suspicious activity and appropriate action is taken.

How That Information Is Then Used

We use personal information to fulfil orders, or to contact you about products or services, or send you information that may be of interest to you.

We will share your personal information with Healthylife in order to process your order or fulfil any deliveries. We will otherwise not transfer personal information about you to any organisation without your consent. If at any time we are required by law or legal process to release personal information about you, we will cooperate fully to the extent of the requirement under the law.

We do not disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.

We use personal information to best look after your healthcare needs, and this may mean contacting you in certain circumstances that are relevant to deliver appropriate professional care.

Healthylife Pharmacy will need to share your personal information in order to access your prescription information using the Oexa Mobile Intermediary Service. The Oexa Mobile Intermediary Service retrieves electronic prescription details from the Medication Knowledge Prescription Delivery Service.

Change Or Update Your Personal Information

Registered customers can view and alter the Personal Information they have provided by logging into their Healthylife account

The Personal Information we retain includes patient profiles, addresses, and past orders. Access to this Personal Information by our staff can only be performed by staff members with a secure password, with access only granted when required.

If at any time you would like to change or update your Personal Information, and cannot find the appropriate location within the site to do so, please contact Healthylife Pharmacy.

Request A Copy Of Your Personal Information

You can ask us in writing for a copy of all the Personal Information we hold about you. We will endeavour to respond to your request within a reasonable time.

After submitting your request in writing to care@healthylife.com.au you will be asked to provide proof of ownership of the Account. This identification process will involve the supply of Full Name, Address, Date Of Birth, and valid Photo ID. 

After successfully proving ownership of the Account, Personal Information can be released to you.

Removing Personal Information From Our Database

If at any stage a Healthylife Pharmacy customer would like their Personal Information removed from our databases, we require an email with the Account details and identifying information. Once proof of ownership is established, the customer's file will be deleted from our records.

Complaints or Enquiries

If you feel we have breached this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles we request that you send through the details of your concerns, alongside your name, phone number, and email address to care@healthylife.com.au

Any potential breaches will be investigated and actioned personally by Healthylife Pharmacy's General Manager or an appointed specialist staff member. If you feel we have not adequately addressed your concerns within 30 days of receipt of your correspondence you can contact the office of the Australian Information Commissioner https://www.oaic.gov.au/about-us/contact-us
