ColonLYTELY Powder Original 70g
Description:
ColonLYTELY is an osmotic colonoscopy preparation that is used to cleanse the lower bowel in preparation for medical procedures. It is also indicated for bowel emptying & cleansing or other purposes as directed by your doctor.
Ingredients:
Polyethylene Glycol 59 g Sodium Sulfate (anhyd) BP 5.68 g Sodium Bicarbonate BP 1.69 g Sodium Chloride BP 1.46 g Potassium Chloride BP 0.75 g combined into a readily soluble powder.
Usage Directions:
It is important that you follow the instructions specifically given by your doctor, prescriber or pharmacist.
The recommended dosage for adults is three to four litres of ColonLYTELY solution prior to endoscopic, radiological or surgical gastrointestinal examination.
Ideally the patient should fast for approximately three to four hours prior to ColonYLTELY administration. In no case should solid food be given for at least two hours before the solution is given.
ColonLYTELY is usually taken orally but may be given via nasogastric tube to patients who are unwilling or unable to drink the preparation. Oral administration is at the rate of 250ml every ten minutes until three to four litres is consumed or rectal effluent is clear. Nasogastric tube administration is at the rate of 20 to 30ml per minute (approximately 1.5 litres per hour). The first bowel movement should occur approximately one hour after the start of administration.
Storage:
Store in a cool dry place, protected from light, where the temperature stays below 25°C.

This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice. This medicine may not be right for you. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation develops rinse eyes thoroughly and dicontinue use.

If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.
Faulty Item

Allergic Reaction
- In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.
Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.
Incorrect / Damaged Items

If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
